James Hoffman is a seasoned licensed New York City tour guide with over a decade of experience. He’s set up an array of sightseeing walks and bike tours that span from iconic landmarks like Grand Central Terminal to the historic Green-Wood Cemetery.

When he's not leading tours he runs open board game nights at victorypints.com and donates his time to the Guides Association of New York City (GANYC), working alongside fellow guides to promote live tour guides.

Cocktails and Charcuterie:

Each ticket includes a pairing of two full size cocktails and a personal charcuterie plate at Dear Irving Gramercy.

  • Starting cocktail is your choice between a Daiquiri or a Gibson.

  • Second cocktail will be a classic Manhattan cocktail.

While you enjoy your cocktails in the private Marie Antoinette room your guide will delve into how the history of the cocktails being served relates to the history of the Gilded Age and sites seen on the walk.

  • Duration: Approximately 2.5 hours, encompassing both the walking tour and cocktail experience. Arrive 15 minutes early if possible!

  • Starting Point: Madison Square Park - exact location given before tour.

  • Age Restriction: All participants must be 21 years or older.

  • What to Bring: Please bring suitable footwear for walking and dress appropriately for the weather conditions.
